Amish Country Essentials

Some of you may not know that where I live on Walnut Street sits smack in the middle of Ohio's Amish Country!

Along with beautiful scenery and good food, another thing that we do REALLY well here in Amish Country is "handmade" - The area is sprinkled with wonderful local shops full of all kinds of craftsmen creating one of a kind, quality products!

There are a few, however that are my favorite and one of them is about 20 minutes from Walnut Street called Amish Country Essentials. This isn't really meant to be a review or a promo for them...I actually use their soap every day and I love it so much that I wanted to share with you all. I was in the store just this afternoon to stock up!

They specialize in all natural skin-care and bath products and let me tell you...they are amazing at what they do! I got hooked on their soaps last spring and have been buying them ever since! You will want to hop on over and check out their facebook page for more information about ALL that they offer, but here are a few that I LOVE!

Top: The Oatmeal & Honey Bar - ground oatmeal, honey and natural oils, including almond oil. The Oatmeal is a wonderful way to gently exfoliate the skin and this bar is also great for Poison Ivy relief!

Middle: Their signature Bee-utiful Bar is made with Honey and Tea Tree Oil! This bar is amazing on problem skin plagued with acne, psoriasis, and eczema! This is a bar that I use almost every day!

Bottom: The Dirty Boy Bar...by far my favorite bar that they make! This bar naturally removes dirt, grease and odor from the skin. Made with all Natural Oils and real coffee (and the grounds for an amazing exfoliant) and although it's a powerful little bar it WILL NOT dry your skin! Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs uses this bar!

I hope that you all will head over to their FB page Amish Country Essentials. Like the page and make sure to leave them some love and tell them that I sent you! The best part...if you visit their website you can order right online and the prices and shipping costs are really reasonable! If you are local - drop in and see them over in Millersburg (next to Bags in downtown) I promise that once you try their soaps you'll never go back to "mass produced" soap again!

Do you have a beauty product that you just can't live without?

    1. Lani, you would love their stuff. These 3 are my "go-to" bars that they make but they also have some other lovely fragrances. They do a lilac bar that is wonderful!
