UPDATED: Drum Table Rescue

UPDATE: I have seen a lot of traffic from this little project! Mostly because it has made its way around the Pinterest world...(which is GREAT) but, I am not blogging at this address any longer!

  6. Sarah!--I adore this table. I really think it needs to come live at my house. =) Seriously, I have just the spot for it and I was totally looking for a little round table just a couple weeks ago. The yardstick top is just brilliant!

  8. Love this table! I love yard sticks! they remind me of being a kid. I wonder why people don't use them anymore. As a kid we used it all the time...

  10. This table turned out amazing. Have you been saving yard sticks for long? I haven't seen any around but if I do I'm snatchin' em up, cause' I NEED this table. If I lived anywhere close I would be there to get that one for sure. Great job Sarah!

  19. This is SO pretty! Firstly, I LOVE yardsticks. Especially used ones. Something about them talks about creating things, and I just love that. Secondly, the style of that table is AWESOME!   50. Let me say this right up front - the drums, and any other
    musical instrument, should be "fun" above all else. If you
    are not having fun while playing an instrument, then being
    a musician probably isn't for you. Sure there will be
    challenging times where you really need to focus on developing
    a few difficult techniques, but at the end of the day - it
    needs to be fulfilling to you. If you aren't having fun,
    it's only a matter of time before practices become a chore,
    and gigs become a hassle.
